We manufacture plain and printed cardboard packaging.

Solid board carton manufacture is what we do. Litho printed cartons or plain cartons across a huge range of styles – crash-lock cartons, sleeves, skillets, bottle collars, tuck in cartons, pillow packs, 4-corner glued trays, 6-corner glued cartons, dividers, internal fitments, fridge packs and more. Everything we do is bespoke, designed to provide the most efficient, cost-effective, sustainable packaging solution.

We have in house design, CAD sampling, cutting forme manufacturing, die cutting, litho printing, folding, gluing and window patching. The service is complete and all in the UK.

No quantity is too small or too large for Tams Packaging. We are comfortable producing 250 or 500 presentation packs whilst at the same time we may be producing a quarter of a million glued cartons.

With a team of highly experienced, specialised skilled staff and state-of-the-art machinery we provide a dedicated design and manufacturing service to achieve the right product at the right time and at the right price. We have recently completed a £1m investment programme to install a new Vega Aquila 102 folder/gluer and a Heidelberg XL 106 five colour litho press with aqueous coater.

Our maximum print sheet size is 750 x 1060mm and we can print on material from 30 to 800 micron.  Announced in 2020, we can now litho print direct to N-Flute board which opens a whole new option for printed cardboard packaging.

We believe in providing the right advice to help our clients choose the most sustainable solution for their needs. This may be choosing a fully recycled board, removing lamination but changing to a different board grade for greater strength or changing to an acetate film for window patching which is then compostable.

We re-design cartons and fitments to use less board whenever possible and work with our customers to find innovative solutions to change from plastic dividers and inserts to cardboard.

If you are looking for a manufacturer that treats their customers as people not account numbers, that wants to share advice and experience to ensure the best possible packaging solution, that is passionate about quality, that invests in technology to maintain efficiency and that is always willing to go the extra mile to meet a deadline, however impossible it may seem, then you have found the right place.
